this is what i look like (will come handy with the previous post)

did i mention that my daughter zak is an excellent photographer? i mean... she rocks!! we had a photo session. i was in real bad need of one. publishers kept nagging me for a photo they could use
(i am such a discrete and modest artist... it just baffles them :-)  zak and i went to the remparts. we have them. they are around our village. the girl didn't waste a frame. each photo could be used if it wasn't for a somewhat orangutany look i seem in such favor of. still managed like... 12 with a normal, human face. very proud of this one. looking like semi-contained diva.

a detail :

a new face for a new book

this is uma. she's a girl. well clearly. Kate Hosford (the author of "big bouffant") writes about her in a new book :  INFINITY and ME.

wont's be out for another year, i think. in the meantime here is her
uma with the drapes behind her

from the same future book

uma in the sky with diamonds

one of my favorite new pieces. after much dispute it is finally heading to a be published

LARVAE

is the new term that my daughter introduced me to. it would seem the majority of the new generation members aspire to existing as larvae. well at least here, in agen (a small town in the south of france), though i suspect the desire for larvae existence is well and alive in all of the western, first - world - type places.

when it comes to regular blogging.... my self discipline deludes me. and here the use of the new word, even if in a completely incorrect fashion (though you will see, it's part of the larvae territory).

i run my blog in a very much larvae custom.

i do have a damn good excuse:

well, i can't actually share it with a wide audience. might result in shaming myself and betraying
something of a fish brain tendency.

larvae - brain!

this thing is proving rather useful.
